Bangladesh is a riverine country. Many villages and towns have been washed away by the river. Dams are built to protect against river erosion. It takes a long time to build a dam. So, the workers built a temporary house there. Many workers work there with their families. They live there temporarily.
Even though their children play there, their life is very miserable. During the rainy season, their extreme misery is borne. Their life role is very difficult. They have to pitch their tents and stay in a temporary house where they have to cook. They have to work even in the sun and rain.
They live by catching fish in the river or they ferry people from one bank to another. They also take a bath in this river. Sometimes they take water and drink it after boiling when there is a scarcity of tube well.
They are working with their courage and strength. Due to a lack of financial means, they cannot wear winter clothes. Most of them are uninhabitable, lack basic hygiene, and are unsafe.
